Turner Industries Receives National Safety Excellence Award from CURT
Turner Industries was recently honored with the Construction Industry Safety Excellence (CISE) Constructor Safety Award by the Construction Users Roundtable (CURT). The company received this recognition in the Heavy Construction Contractors category for organizations with more than 3 million work hours per year. Turner is now a four-time winner of the CISE award—CURT’s highest recognition in safety.
The CISE Awards, now in their 23rd year, are widely regarded as a benchmark for safety excellence in the construction sector. These awards recognize companies that have demonstrated exceptional safety performance and innovative, cost-effective construction methods over the past three years.
Mike Phelps, vice president of Health, Safety and Environmental for Turner Industries, expressed his pride in the company’s achievement: “This award is a direct reflection of how committed every Turner Industries employee is to maintain the highest standards of safety in our operations. We believe that every worker deserves to return home safely at the end of each day, and this recognition reinforces our dedication to that belief.”
The CURT CISE Awards are open to members and non-members, owners, contractors, and associations worldwide, making this recognition even more significant on a global scale. By receiving this award, Turner Industries joins an elite group of organizations that are setting the bar for safety excellence in the construction industry.
“We are honored to be recognized by CURT for our safety performance,” Phelps added. “This award motivates us to continue innovating and improving our safety practices, ensuring that we remain an industry leader when it comes to construction safety.”
