Celebrating 25 Years in Paris, Texas

Turner Industries’ Pipe Fabrication Facility in Paris, Texas, is celebrating a significant milestone — its 25th anniversary. This occasion marks a quarter century of growth, innovation, and community partnership in Northeast Texas.

1999

Turner recognized the need for expanded pipe fabrication capacity to meet growing demand. The company purchased a 350,000-square-foot facility in Paris, Texas, from Babcock & Wilcox.

2005

Turner installed two large induction pipe bending machines, expanding their capacity to handle pipes up to 54 inches in diameter and four inches thick. This upgrade was complemented by the addition of a 70,000-square-foot coating facility across the street.

2008

Turner pursued and obtained three crucial nuclear stamps. This certification process, involving extensive documentation and a rigorous ASME audit, positioned Turner to support the nuclear energy sector.

2014-2016

Turner’s Paris facility fabricated over 34,000 pipe spools for Chevron Phillips Chemical’s Cedar Bayou complex in Baytown, Texas.

2019

The Paris facility demonstrated its nuclear fabrication expertise by producing approximately 825 ASME Section III pipe spools for the Alvin W. Vogtle Electric Generating Plant in Georgia.

2020

The COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 led to a temporary idling of Paris’ operations as capital projects came to a standstill. However, Turner maintained a core team on-site to ensure readiness for future operations.

2022

Turner celebrated the successful completion of its inaugural Advanced Manufacturing Mentorship Program, created and taught in-house by employees in Paris, Texas.

2024

As Turner celebrates its 25th anniversary in Paris, the company has unveiled a newly renovated operations building. The new office building was completed just in time to celebrate the facility’s 25th anniversary. To mark the occasion, Turner held an open house to welcome visitors to the site.

Turner Industries CEO Stephen Toups welcomes attendees to the Paris, Texas, facility’s 25th anniversary celebration and ribbon cutting of the newly renovated operations building.
Ke’Aurian Jackson, an AutoCAD detailer in the engineering department at Turner Industries’ Paris facility, joined the Turner executive leadership team to cut the ribbon and unveil the facility’s newly renovated operations building. Ke’Aurian was hired by Turner after completing the Advanced Manufacturing Mentorship Program in Paris.
