When it comes to providing industrial packaging services, precision, safety, and efficiency are absolutely necessary. At the Kuraray Poval™ plant in Pasadena, Texas, Turner Industries has consistently delivered on all these fronts since 2016. 

With a dedicated team of almost a dozen employees, including operators, team leaders, a supervisor, and a truck loader, Turner handles all packaging operations for Kuraray’s Poval products. Their responsibilities encompass operating packaging machinery, prioritizing workplace safety, and managing the efficient flow of both incoming raw materials and outgoing finished products.

Turner’s success at the Kuraray Poval plant has been built on a foundation of safety and efficiency. By prioritizing a safe work environment and open communication, as well as adhering to strict quality control procedures, the team has consistently delivered exceptional results. For example, in 2022, Turner showcased its operational excellence by successfully completing 100 percent of the repack requests initiated by Kuraray. This achievement involved handling a total of 841 metric tons of product and resulted in substantial cost savings.

Kuraray Poval is the brand name of Kuraray’s globally produced polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH). Kuraray Poval features an extremely wide-ranging field of applications. The main uses are in the paper, adhesive, textile and construction industries, as well as in ceramics, packaging and electronics.

At the Kuraray Poval plant in Pasadena, Texas, Turner Industries has provided industrial packaging services since 2016.
