Rope Access Team Prevents Leak for AmSty

The Americas Styrenics leadership team in St. James, Louisiana, recently recognized the Turner rope access group for identifying piping leaks before they actually leaked and caused a Loss of Primary Containment.

The rope access group was working on a nearby process line when they noticed another process line with heavy scaling and pitting. This was reported to AmSty operations, where further inspections revealed extensive wall thinning.
Repairs were then made.

The Turner rope access team’s keen eye and quick action prevented a potential environmental incident. We are grateful for Turner’s partnership and the peace of mind that comes from knowing we have such a dedicated rope access team working alongside us.
